LEVEL 3 – Advanced In-House CBRN Field Specialization

Training • Exercise • Emergency Action Planning

Objective: To equip teams working in high-risk facilities (such as chemical plants, cement factories, energy facilities, and iron–steel industries) with advanced PPE usage skills, detection and sampling capabilities, integrated command-and-control coordination, and full-scale field exercise competence.

Duration: 4 days | 32–36 hours

Learning Objectives

  • Advanced CBRN Risk Analysis:
Distinguish high-risk chemical, biological, and radiological scenarios; accurately assess risk levels, potential spread, and operational priorities based on incident type.
  • Advanced PPE Competency:
Demonstrate proficiency in the use of advanced-level PPE, including positive-pressure systems. Apply correct donning and doffing procedures, ensure airtight integrity, and manage operational limitations effectively.
  • Detection & Sampling Procedures:
Understand the fundamental principles of detection equipment and safely conduct sampling and labeling processes in accordance with field safety standards.
  • Advanced Field Command & Control:
Effectively coordinate multi-team and multi-stage CBRN operations, managing roles, communication channels, and decision-making processes.
  • Full-Scale Field Exercise Execution:
Integrate advanced PPE, detection systems, and team coordination within realistic CBRN scenarios to conduct controlled and safe field interventions.
  • Secondary Risk & Contamination Control:
Limit contamination spread, personnel exposure, and operational disruptions through proper field layout, zoning, and appropriate response actions.
  • Post-Exercise Evaluation & Continuous Improvement:
Conduct performance analysis based on exercise outcomes and define institutional learning objectives and continuous improvement measures.

WHY IT IS NECESSARY

Rare But High-Impact Risks: CBRN events have a low probability; however, when they occur, they have a high impact on operational continuity and reputation.

Standard Emergency Plans Are Insufficient: CBRN scenarios require specialized knowledge, training, and rehearsals beyond classic fire and evacuation plans.

A Complementary Element of Corporate Resilience: Training, drills, and emergency action plans strengthen corporate reflexes by complementing existing risk and continuity structures.
